CANVAS THIN WRAPS
Canvas Thin Wrap prints are a great option when you would like to go without a frame, mimic the look of a painting, and have a protected, well presented image at the same time. Canvas Thin Wraps make beautiful gifts and easily dress up any wall!
To make a Thin Wrap, the photograph is printed directly onto canvas which is then stretched around gator board and sealed with a protective laminate.
They are similar to a gallery wrap, except that they are "thin." Typical thickness is 3/16". However, they are sturdy, and because of the "float -mount" on the back they will sit away from the wall by 1/2 inch, offering a nice, professional, polished feel.
Ordering is easy! Simply choose your size from the list above, then, in the message section of check out let me know the title of the image you would like. That's it! I do use a professional photo lab to print on canvas so please allow 5-7 days before I can ship to you.

Hello, My name is Katharine Emlen and I welcome you to my shop. I am a photographer and writer living in Knoxville, Tennessee. I love finding patterns in nature and beauty in the disheveled. I also love closing things off to remove context and make one wonder! Knoxville is a great place to be as an artist for the town is quaint, picturesque, and full of personality and charm. Very photogenic indeed!
I am also the artist behind The Poetry of Nature, as series of work that pairs macro photography with poetry. That work is featured in its own shop as it is distinct and complete as a body of work.

How it’s Made
CANVAS THIN WRAPS
Canvas thin wraps are an excellent choice if you wish to mimic the look of a painting and have a nice, chic, ready to hang image. Because the images themselves are "soft" in mood, canvas brings this out nicely.
Thin Wraps are a more economical way to have a canvas print. They differ from gallery wraps in their thickness. Instead of being stretched around a 1/2 inch frame, they are stretched around a gator board, making them "thin."
When you order a canvas thin wrap, I will send you the poem separately on a small piece of card stock, about the size of a 3x5 card.
*Not all images can go as big as 16x22, so if that is the size you are interested in, please check with me to be sure I can do it.

PROCESSING TIME
All of my photographs are printed to order using a professional photo lab. Because of this it can take up to 5 days of processing time before I can ship to you. So please allow 7-10 days from when you order until you receive your photo.
Greeting cards and postcards will be shipped right away. :)
RETURNS
If you are unhappy with your image I am happy to offer a refund once the photograph has been returned. I am also happy to exchange it for a different one of the same size, once the original has been returned. Returns and exchanges are accepted up to two weeks from receipt of order.
INTERNTIONAL
I do not yet offer Digital Downloads, but I am more than happy to work with you on the most economical way to get you your print.
