Sweet summer beach hippie vibes...this ankle bracelet is made with tiny white puka shells and natural Laguna crazy lace agates. The beads are hand crocheted into a nylon bead crochet cord called 'ginger' it's a light neutral tan with a slight pink peach color to it. Enjoy an extra cute bohemian vibe by stacking more than one crocheted anklet. Or wear alone for a more dainty look.
The clasp is a beaded loop that latches around a coconut shell.

Please note, this is a handmade item and includes components made from nature so each anklet is a little different. Puka shells may vary in size and shape slightly. Also computer monitors and cell phone screens often display color differently.
While these do hold up to water, The strands of the nylon cord will definitely last longer if you don't repeatedly wear in the water. Taking off for showers can help extend it's life. I would especially keep crochet jewelry out of a chlorinated pool, the chemicals might be too harsh. If you forget, it's okay, just rinse and lay flat to dry. If there are pearls in your design, chlorine can definitely damage them permanently.

Aloha! My name is Jamee and I create beachy boho Hawaii inspired jewelry here on Maui. My focus is to provide easy to wear super cute natural style jewelry for you to mix and match with your own jewelry. Hand crafted pieces with tokens of your love for the ocean with a bohemian twist. My jewelry is the perfect accessory for the fashionable free spirited woman who loves summer, adventure and appreciates the simple things in life. The beach boho crocheted pieces I make, featuring Hawaiian shells, are especially loved by those who are hippie mermaids at heart.
Having lived on Maui since 1992, I am super inspired by the easy, relaxed feel of island life and it has played a huge part in what Jonara Blu Maui has become today.
Lots of love and attention go into each piece. I take great care to pick out and use only the best jewelry components and apply the techniques that all my years of jewelry making have taught me. My customers mean the WORLD to me, and I strive very hard to be there for each and every one with amazing communication and customer service. I've been selling online since 2003 (I originally started on rubylane.com), but I started making jewelry when I was just 10 years old. An auntie gave me her box of beads and taught me how to make necklaces. I can still remember the excitement I felt, as if a whole new world was opening up to me. For my crocheted jewelry, I am very thankful to my grandmother. When very young, I often sat in her lap and held her hands while she crocheted. Eventually, I picked it up and in later years incorporated it into my jewelry making.
I even have experience fulfilling corporate gift orders as well as various wholesale accounts. Though I've slowed down a bit as I've gotten older and don't take on these types of orders on anymore, I do have that experience and have had the pleasure of working with companies like Volvo Trucks and Toyota. I’m thrilled to have you here and appreciate your support. Below are some details about my shop policies to ensure you have the best possible experience. As always, feel free to contact me if you have any questions :D
Processing Time
All jewelry in the shop is made and ready to ship. Typically items ship out within 3 to 5 days.
Returns and Exchanges
I gladly accept returns and exchanges providing you contact me within 7 days and return the item within 14 days.
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item has a defect or the problem is due to an error on my part.
Please contact me with the tracking number so I can keep an eye out for it. I use my PO box and do not go there every day.
Once I receive the item I will contact you and issue your refund.
If the item is not returned in its original condition or in it's original packaging, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged
Personalized custom items
Pierced earrings for health and hygiene reasons. However, I will accept returns or exchanges if the earrings are defective.
Cancelations
You may request a cancellation within 2 hours of purchase unless it has already been mailed. At that point I would need you to ship the item back to me for a refund.
Payment
Credit card payments made through Goimagine are processed using 'Stripe'. Neither Goimagine nor Jonara Blu Maui Jewelry have access to your credit card information.
Packaging
Your jewelry will be packaged in a natural 'wheat' colored box with my logo sticker on top. The box is wrapped and tied with a strand of raffia. Multiple items will be individually packaged in separate jewelry bags within the same jewelry box, provided they fit comfortably. If your purchase is a gift and you would like any item in a separate jewelry box, please let me know.
Shipping (US only for now)
I ship to the address you put in to your Go Imagine account or if checking out as a guest, the address you provide with your order. Please make sure it's updated and correct.
Your purchase will be shipped within 3 days of receiving payment.
Items will be shipped via USPS Ground Advantage (formerly known as First Class for small packages) or Priority Mail, depending on your choice or if your package is 13 ounces or more. Most packages containing a single item of jewelry weigh about 2 - 3 ounces.
Shipping via USPS Ground Advantage usually takes 4 - 7 days to reach the mainland from Hawaii but can at times take up to 10 days. Priority mail is supposed to take 3 days from Maui, but again it could take longer.
Please allow for extra shipping time for post office delays, especially during the holidays.
Lost Packages
I am not responsible for packages lost in the mail. Please ensure that your package will be delivered to a secure location.
I have found that the #1 reason packages do not show up is because the customers address was not updated to their new one after a move. So be sure to update your shipping info. If that's not it, I always suggest looking around the house incase someone else in the house brought it in. Also you can ask your neighbors as some packages can accidentally be delivered next door.
If you have not received your package and tracking shows it's been delivered please contact me so I can help you figure it out.
Privacy
Your privacy is important to me. I only collect the information necessary to process and ship your order, such as your name, shipping address, and contact details. This information is used solely for order fulfillment, communication regarding your purchase, and legal requirements. I do not share your personal information with third parties, except as necessary to comply with the law or fulfill your order (e.g., shipping services).

Is your jewelry from a pet and smoke free home?
YES!
Can I wear my crochet jewelry in the water?
While many pieces in my shop are beach and water-friendly, crochet jewelry stays new looking longer if not frequently exposed to certain elements that can wear on the fibers. Constant exposure to water, such as wearing it daily in the shower, may start breaking down the nylon fibers. Additionally, some components, like electroplated pieces or dyed bone and wood, might not hold up well over time in water. I do not recommend wearing any crochet jewelry in swimming pools due to the chlorine, especially pieces with pearls. If you do wear your jewelry in a pool, rinse it off when you get home and hang it up to dry. If you have any specific questions, feel free to contact me!
My crocheted necklace seems to be twisting. What should I do?
Twisting can happen, especially if the necklace is stored coiled up. To straighten it, start from the middle and ensure the stitching is on top as you smooth it out before putting it on. If it still twists, you can lightly and carefully iron it. Here’s how:
Untwist the necklace before ironing.
Use a barrier, like a doubled pillowcase, between the iron and the necklace.
Iron with a light touch; do not press down hard.
Use an old pillowcase, it's rare but steam could cause dye from some beads to transfer.

Is the sea glass in your jewelry real sea glass found in Hawaii?
I use both authentic sea glass that I’ve found myself or purchased from local collectors, as well as cultured sea glass pebbles from a supplier.
Cultured sea glass is recycled broken glass that is tumbled to look like natural sea or beach glass. These pieces will always be clearly labeled in the listing details.
Authentic sea glass or beach glass will also be disclosed in the listing details. I source it from my trips to beaches in Hawaii and from local collectors. If the sea glass is from outside Hawaii, I will specify its origin in the listing.
I'm going to be on Maui can I pick up Jewelry?
Unfortunately for safety reasons I cannot make arrangements to have people come to my home to pick up jewelry.
Can you ship to my country?
At this time I am not shipping international.
