This headband with NO beau (pronounced "bow") started its journey as a lovely tie. I love this vibrant color and it has a circle pattern in the weave. The blue fabric is a beautiful accent to your outfit as a headband!

Meet the Maker
I am a career educator and researcher and inspired crafter! My mom taught me to sew when I was in high school, and I have enjoyed turning out projects ever since!
How it’s Made
No Beau (pronounced "bow") bands begin with carefully selected ties with lovely and luxurious fabric. Many of them are high end brands such as Brooks Brothers, Calvin Klein and Michael Kors. Whenever I can, I leave hints about what brand tie might have been used; it depends on where the label lands.The narrow end of the tie covers a metal headband blank measuring about 4 1/2" across and about 9mm wide. The ends of the band are covered with grosgrain ribbon secured by hot glue. Sometimes there will be a little glue residue - don't worry! It won't show as you wear the band. If you have a larger head and need to stretch the headband some, GENTLY bend each side a little at a time. I imagine you could do the opposite, GENTLY, to make it smaller but I have a big head and don't have any experience with that!

Return Policy: All sales are final. If there is a problem with the product when you receive it, I need to know within 24 hours of your receipt. I will do my best to correct the problem or replace the item.
Care Instructions: Spot clean only. I have used a Tide pen with success for small problems. If you have larger mishaps, clean by hand.
FAQ's: YES I can do custom orders. Send me a message about your special ties. There would be no upcharge if I am simply making my usual product(s) with your tie(s). FYI in many cases I can get multiple items out of just one or two ties.
