Thank you for your interest in purchasing a fondant cake topper from Cake Devils. Please read the policies for important information. By making a purchase from Cake Devils, you are agreeing to the shop policies. 

What is your return policy?
All sales are final. We do not offer refunds, exchanges, and/or cancellations of orders for any reason. 

How far in advance should I place my order?
All items are currently 2 weeks to process plus shipping time. This means it can take about 3 weeks to receive your order. If you need something sooner, please contact me BEFORE purchasing and/or purchase the Rush Order listing.
All orders received after 5PM EST, on weekends, or on holidays are considered to be the next business day and ship dates will be adjusted accordingly. Any orders scheduled to ship on a federal holiday will ship the next business day.

Please do NOT purchase your item and then leave a note that you need it sooner than the posted processing and shipping times. In this case, you will be given the option to purchase the jump the line listing and it will then follow that time frame. If you do not purchase the jump the line listing, your order will be processed and shipped in the order that it was received. Your order will not be canceled and/or refunded.

What if I'm planning in advance?
That's great! Just contact me for a later ship date!

How does the Rush Order work? 
If you need something sooner, please purchase Rush Order listing to the Jump the Line listing. You will also have the option to upgrade to priority shipping for smaller items. Just add the rush order listing to your cart along with the toppers that you need.
Please allow at least 7 days for processing and drying time with the rush order. If that is not soon enough, please contact me before ordering. I try my best to fit all requests into our schedule. I will guarantee you a ship date and advise you of the scheduled delivery date. 

How should I unwrap and store my toppers once I receive them?
Please be aware that our items are extremely fragile. We pack them well to prevent damage. PLEASE UNWRAP THEM SLOWLY AND CAREFULLY to avoid damage. The most fragile areas will be wrapped in the most wrap to protect. It can help to cut little tiny snips of the plastic with a scissor.

Once received, they can be stored in a cool (room temperature), dry, dark place until your event. Do not store them in the fridge or freezer.
After your event, they make wonderful keepsakes! Just keep them out of direct sunlight and they will last for years to come!

What if my topper is lost or damaged in transit?
All items are shipped via USPS first class mail or priority mail. The method depends on the item ordered. You will receive an email with your tracking number once your item has shipped.
First class mail is typically 2-5 days and priority mail is typically 1-3 days. Delays can happen on rare occasion. While we have no control over this, we can help you to track down your package and get it to you asap. Cake Devils cannot be held responsible for lost packages and/or delays that occur on the part of USPS for circumstances including, but not limited to, lost packages, bad weather, customer errors (wrong address, locked gates, no secure location to leave package, etc), natural disasters, etc. We are still here to help you track down your package and file claims for insured packages. Once a package is marked as delivered by USPS, it is the responsibility of the buyer to contact their local post office.
This means that Cake Devils can never guarantee a delivery date. We can only guarantee a ship date and advise you of the scheduled delivery date.

Though it is rare for items to arrive unusable from damage, it can happen. If you would like your item insured against loss or damage, there is an insurance listing in our shop. All items shipped priority mail include up to $50 of insurance coverage. 
If your item arrives damaged,and/or you have any other issues, PLEASE MESSAGE ME WITHIN 24 HOURS OF RECEIPT so I can help you. Please do not throw away the item, the box or any packing materials. Sometimes it's as simple as helping you to repair the item prior to placing it on the cake. 

PLEASE NOTE:
-All items are made to order and can be customized to your liking. 
-All of our products are handmade and will have differences and variations. This give each item it's own uniqueness. Shades of colors mixed by hand will vary slightly. While colors can be made as close as possible to a requested color, an exact match can never be guaranteed.
-Our products may contain or come into contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy, and other allergens. You agree to notify your guests of this risk and hold us harmless for allergic reactions.
-Cupcake toppers, small cake decorations, and flat cake decorations are fine to eat. The larger, more dense cake toppers should not be consumed as they dry quite hard and may contain toothpicks for support.
-Cake Devils, LLC photographs all cakes and toppers we create. We reserve the right to use these photographs for display and promotion without any compensation to the buyer.

BABIES:
-All babies will be made with brown hair unless otherwise requested.
-Skin tones are mixed by hand and shades will vary slightly. Shades will also appear different on various computer/phone screens.
-EXAMPLES OF SKIN TONES can be seen here.
-Embellishment size may appear smaller or larger based on size of baby ordered.

FLOWERS and FLORAL SPRAYS:
**Please note: While the floral sprays are packed extremely carefully to avoid damage, they are very fragile and though it is rare, some slight damage can occur in transit. The sprays are priced accordingly to account for this.**
If a small spot does become damaged, you can easily turn the flower or leave so that spot is on the bottom and cannot be seen.
