Hi! I’m Lisa, the hands and heart behind these handcrafted accessories. By day, I’m an operating room nurse in sunny Florida. Originally from Pennsylvania (go Phillies!), I’ve always had a love for precision, creativity, and craftsmanship.

Where “wejustsay” Came From
The name wejustsay started as a family inside joke that turned into something meaningful. My husband and I have a habit of ending our thoughts with “I’m just sayin’”—especially when offering opinions that might ruffle a few feathers. Over the years, our adult kids picked it up, too. One day, my daughter’s husband, a little exasperated, asked her why our whole family was always saying, “I’m just saying this” and “I’m just saying that.” She laughed and told him, “Well... we just say!”
Not long after, she sent me a wooden sign that simply read we just say. At first, I didn’t understand—but once she shared the story, I loved it. Years later, as I was brainstorming names for my Etsy shop, I walked into my sewing room, saw the sign hanging there, and knew instantly that it was the perfect fit. It’s personal, a little quirky, and a sweet reminder of the people I love most.
How it’s Made
Each cork wallet I create is carefully handcrafted with attention to detail and a love for sustainable design. The process begins with selecting premium cork fabric—a beautiful, eco-friendly material that's soft to the touch yet durable enough for everyday use.
I hand-cut each piece with precision, ensuring that the natural texture and grain of the cork are thoughtfully showcased. Next, I add functional elements: a secure zippered pocket for cash, another for coins, and three sleek card slots, all designed for easy access and slim carry.
Once the components are in place, I machine stitch everything together, reinforcing the structure and giving the wallet a refined, polished look. Every seam reflects patience and care. Finally, I attach the flip lock hardware, adding both function and a finishing touch of style.
The result is a one-of-a-kind cork wallet that’s minimalist, practical, and made to last.
