Meet the Maker
Mydeye (My Daughter's Eyes) is part of my attempt to be a person that my daughter can be proud of. I am building a business from something that I love doing. I am working that business without having to let go of my other responsibilities, or take my attention away from my family - my number one priority.
It is my hope, when she is grown and leaves to raise her own family, that my daughter will still be able to see me as a hero. Not someone who has all the answers and can fix anything that's wrong, but someone who tried their best to make a good life for her family, and who taught her daughter how to find the thing she wants to do in life and to work hard to accomplish her goals.
How it’s Made
Each ornament starts off as unfinished Mahogany and Birch plywood and clear cast acrylic sheets. Designs are created on my computer and each piece is then engraved and cut on a laser cutter. Each piece of the Mahogany globe is then sealed with an acrylic sealer, and then the 5 individual layers are assembled. Characters are hand placed inside the globe and the stopper and ribbon attached.

Buyer can return or exchange items that are not customized or personalized
