Custom pebbles spinner ring in sterling silver and the pebbles (round balls) are argentium or fine silver.
This ring is unisex and FUN to play with!
The wide band part of this spinner ring is 1/2" wide
This ring has 3 spinners but you can have 1, 2 or 3 spinners. One "pebble" per spinner. Please see all the photos :)
When I was asked to create this ring as a custom spinner ring, I had to know about the meaning behind the pebbles so I spent days googling "pebbles" and their meanings - and the one that stuck was penguins. They use pebbles as currency and courtship and nesting (ouch!) It was a fun rabbit hole to go down. Late nights with penguin pebbles videos had me giggling for hours. They truly are adorable. And those videos led me to otters and their rocks. Like I said, quite the rabbit hole!
But I digress...
You can have super smooth and shiny, smooth and matte (this ring) and you can also can have it hammered. Same with all the spinners You can choose from smooth, lightly hammered, heavily hammered etc (these are all hammered to match a customers hammered ring) You can have all the spinners look different or the same.
You can choose from the small, medium or large pebbles. The small pebbles are just a bit larger than the ring it's on, and you can see the sizes of medium and large on the photos. You can also have plain rings and one pebble of your size choice in the middle or however you want it. If you can dream it, I can probably make it. I try to make each collaboration fun and send photos to your email while I make it and you can send photos of what you want things to look like to me! There is a photo with a plain single pebble ring that is a medium/large pebble, round and the ring as well as the pebble is smooth, no hammer marks - to give you an idea of what a smooth spinner outer ring looks like :)
The pebbles are made from scraps of sterling, fine or argentium silver. Argentium and fine silver are the best of the best because they ball up so nicely and have less copper so they're more tarnish resistant.
You can also have the pebbles smushed if you don't want them round. This gives it an organic rustic look that is more earthy.
And you can have the rings antiqued and dark looking, which is pretty cool when it's hammered. All the dark patina color stays in the recesses.

I can make all rings from size 3 to over 15 in whole and half sizes and everything in between. As a professional though, I recommend visiting your local jewelry store for a sizing - let them know you're interested in 1/2" wide ring sizing.
I'll just need your 1/2" wide ring size so this fits, spinner rings fit tighter than a regular ring - please feel free to message me with any questions. I've been making these rings for over 13 years and can walk you through it easy peasy. I know it might seem overwhelming but I try to make it fun! :) You can always say "make it look like the picture"

How it’s Made
First I melt scrap for the pebbles
Then do metalsmith math for the main ring and spinners
Solder all the rings
pickle the rings (mild acid bath)
Hammer rings round, add texture etc
Tumbler for a day or overnight
Patina added or left plain
Tools are used to flare the edges so the ring flares out and spinners stay on
Final polish

There are NO refunds for custom orders on spinner rings. Please please pretty please get sized professionally for wide band ring before you order. They fit much tighter than narrow bands. Again, please get fitted professionally! Please contact me before ordering if you have any questions.

I am pretty ocd about the details because I want to make a good, solid product and I love for my customers to be happy with what I make.
Reviews mean a lot to me but customer service and sleeping at night mean more!
I do not do refunds on any of my custom jewelry when I'm given the wrong size. I don't refund copper jewelry if it turns your fingers green. Copper turns skin green depending on body chemistry. Sealing the copper with a thin layer of clear fingernail polish carefully will delay the coloring. I can't control body chemistry.
I no longer repair spinner rings that have been damaged via extreme wear, or when it's been caught in car doors or when the owner tries to repair it themselves. I will gladly make you another one for the same cost.
I don't give refunds on rings or other jewelry because they tarnish. When an item is hand stamped, the recessed area is filled which will lighten up over time.
This is also true of jewelry that has been antiqued - just like color slowly coming out of hair, the high points in jewelry will possibly lose color over time. This is normal and to be expected.
No returns or exchanges on custom stamped items that don't look 100% like the original listing. Handmade & custom lends itself to imperfections but I do quality control on each item before shipping.
No earring refunds, exchanges or returns. All earrings are thoroughly inspected prior to shipping quality control.
