Meet the Maker
I worked in the engineering world of the plastics industry for 37 years. During that time, I became a volunteer firefighter in my county where fire protection was provided by two paid firefighters and volunteers from 13 stations. I progressed from Firefighter to Battalion Chief, responsible for three volunteer stations. Somewhere along the way, my wife, Linda, and I decided to start a fire equipment business. As we went through the learning curve, MY-LOR evolved into a supplier of Accountability Systems for the fire service. We make all of of tags and Command Boards in our shop. MY-LOR is a full time business for us now since I retired from the plastics industry in 2007. We do sublimation, 3D printing, laser marking and now we are getting into developing new products with the addition of our CNC router
How it’s Made
These coasters are printed in our shop and the 3D Printed holder is manufactured in our shop as well.
