About this Product

This bamboo cutting board features a spooky Halloween scene and is available is 3 sizes to meet all your cutting or small charcuterie needs. Or, just display for some "Hallowday" spirit.

These products are crafted using hand wood burning techniques done by Katie. We never use lasers on our wood pieces.

Kitchen items are preserved using an all-natural cutting board wax (refined coconut oil in a rice wax base.) Please let us know if you have a nut allergy and we will use a mineral oil-based preservative.

My name is Erik Reichenbach, and my wife Katie and I are pleased to have founded R Little Homestead. I grew up in the Lehigh Valley, served for 5 years in the U.S. Army, and finally settled in Center Valley, PA.

How it’s Made

Each piece is carefully hand wood-burned. If you'd like, we can personalize this cutting board to your spooky delight.

Because wood is a natural product and each cutting board is hand wood-burned you are guaranteed a one-of-a-kind Halloween delight. I begin with a blank bamboo cutting board from which you can choose from 3 different sizes or create a set.

Halloween is a fun time to decorate and this is just one of my many patterns. I can also personalize with your family name, dates, or spooky phrases.

The cutting board is then properly cleaned and finished with wax. If you have a nut allergy, please inform us and we will use an alternative to our usual wax.


CARE AND CLEANING:

Wood cutting boards should be kept sanitized. After cutting raw meat or poultry on it, wash it with a solution of 1 Tablespoon of chlorine bleach per quart of water. After using this solution wash board with soap and water and wipe dry.

Do not immerse in water or put in dishwasher.

Regularly rub in kitchen-grade mineral oil to renew the finish or some other cutting board protectant, if you wish.

Keep away from open flames. Do not place oven-hot pots and pans on the surface.
