Custom black and white pencil portraits made to order.
This is for an 8x10in drawing with up to 3 figures.
**All portraits come with FREE matting so they are ready to hang on a wall or put in a frame.
***Portraits come hand-packaged in a gift-ready plastic wrapping.
You will receive an original hand-drawn work of art based on a picture of your choosing.
A custom-made portrait makes a great gift for a birthday, anniversary, or memorial.
1. Make your purchase
2. Message me through the ‘Contact Maker’ thread with a favorite photo or photos. You can also email me the photo at spenceportraits@gmail.com. The clearer the photo the more detailed the drawing - I can also combine photos if you like. Once we agree on the details of the portrait, I'll get started. I'll be sure to send you update photos as well as a final one for your approval.
3. I will mail the portrait to you.
Usually ready to ship within 3-4 days - more than one figure may take longer.
*Due to demand, sometimes wait times are a bit longer. If you have a specific date you need to receive the portrait let me know before you purchase so we can make sure you'll be receiving it in time.
*These prices are for just the figures without a background. I'm happy to include background imagery, just message me using the 'Contact Maker' feature explaining what you'd like and we can go from there.
*Portraits are made in the likeness of the photo provided. Any adjustments from the original photo will have to be agreed upon beforehand.

Spence Portraits, based in beautiful Savannah, Georgia, was born out of three decades of art making and a passion for giving great gifts. When I draw, I like to think that I am capturing the essence of the pet or person that I am working on. Especially in this digital age, there's something special about receiving a personalized, original work of art made by an artist you can communicate with.

I use high quality drawing paper and pencils ranging between 2b and 8b.
