Custom made one of a kind Redwork Lap Quilt featuring Redwork Hand Embroidery. Reversible with a Blue and white floral for year round use. This quilt measures approximately 43 inches wide by 56 inches long. Snowman embroidery designs are from the book Redwork Blizzard Buddies by Pearl Louise Krush. Quilt layout and design is my original design. Embroidery by my mother Harriett, who stitched many hours to create each redwork embroidery block with great talent and care. All hand embroidery was sealed with iron on interfacing behind each block to lock in and protect the stitches. Fabric is specifically for Redwork called " Daisy Redwork" by designer Robert Kaufmann. The best materials were used to create this Christmas Heirloom for you to treasure and pass down through the generations. Batting is the highest quality poly see photo with details, which is hypo allergenic, has a great drape and doesn't crease like cotton. The perfect lap size to drape over the back of a sofa or use as a spectacular showpiece on a bed or chair. This quilt would be gorgeous as a wall hanging to admire throughout the holidays and then use the reverse side back in blue and white floral for year round decor. Spot cleaning is recommended however it is able to be washed in cold water on delicate and tumble dry low setting. Washing instructions will be sent with your quilt.

Meet the Maker
Welcome to my shop! I make all of the items in my shop as one of a kind, original designs. No two items are identical. I use only quality materials. I love Christmas but also Coastal and Floral designs so you will find other beautiful items, not just Christmas. I chose the name to be memorable and to create an original brand.
I am a one woman business making each item by hand. Please check back for new listings, as I am constantly adding items to the shop usually every two weeks.
Christmas Quilt Co. was started in November 2023 after my daughter encouraged me to sell my handmade creations. I decided to pivot to Go Imagine from another platform, as they are more supportive of "Handmade" and aligned with Artists, Artisans and Handmade sellers. I also like Go Imagine's mission to support charitable causes.
I have always created my entire life. I am in my shop everyday making and creating which is truly my passion. I take pride in every item that I sell and consider each piece as art. I give my customers the best customer service possible by shipping immediately or within 24 hours. My goal is to build my business and continue to grow my customer base. How it’s Made
I make my quilts using a design wall and layout my blocks onto the wall to create my original designs. I create patterns and have my mother do the hand embroidery. Each block is pieced using my Brother sewing machine. Once sewn together, I free motion quilt using my Brother Sewing machine which is an art form where you move the fabric under the needle which is essentially drawing onto your fabric. It is an art form and takes a lot of practice to master. Free Motion Quilting is very labor intensive, which is why you won't find many for sale with an affordable price. I only use quality quilting materials. This quilt has designer quilt fabric and quality batting and threads.
