My name is Karina, and I am from the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I was raised in Washington State, and as an adult, moved to Oregon, where I live in a small town just east of Mount Hood. Yes, we get a lot of snow. No, I don't know how to ski :). I decided on the name of my shop because years ago, my mom gave me her jar filled with old buttons, that she had gotten years before that from my grandma. They had both filled it with buttons taken off clothing that had no more wear left in them, so most of the buttons were from things that my aunts, uncles, cousins...basically the whole family had worn. I have four wonderful adult children, one beautiful, funny, amazing grandbaby, and a new puppy, Mopsy. In the spring of 2022, I decided to do embroidery full time so I purchased a 15 needle, commercial machine, watched a semi-truck pull up with it, and panic set in...how is this going to fit through the front door of my house? Lots of sweat (my son's, and his friends) and tears (mine), it finally fit through and I was off to the races. Ok, off to the store to buy huge amounts of embroidery thread and supplies, but the races sound so much more exciting. I absolutely love what I do, and I hope you enjoy what I make, as much as I enjoy making them.
