Aloha! My name is Jamee and I create beachy boho Hawaii inspired jewelry here on Maui. My focus is to provide easy to wear super cute natural style jewelry for you to mix and match with your own jewelry. Hand crafted pieces with tokens of your love for the ocean with a bohemian twist. My jewelry is the perfect accessory for the fashionable free spirited woman who loves summer, adventure and appreciates the simple things in life. The beach boho crocheted pieces I make, featuring Hawaiian shells, are especially loved by those who are hippie mermaids at heart.

Having lived on Maui since 1992, I am super inspired by the easy, relaxed feel of island life and it has played a huge part in what Jonara Blu Maui has become today.

Lots of love and attention go into each piece. I take great care to pick out and use only the best jewelry components and apply the techniques that all my years of jewelry making have taught me. My customers mean the WORLD to me, and I strive very hard to be there for each and every one with amazing communication and customer service. I've been selling online since 2003 (I originally started on rubylane.com), but I started making jewelry when I was just 10 years old. An auntie gave me her box of beads and taught me how to make necklaces. I can still remember the excitement I felt, as if a whole new world was opening up to me. For my crocheted jewelry, I am very thankful to my grandmother. When very young, I often sat in her lap and held her hands while she crocheted. Eventually, I picked it up and in later years incorporated it into my jewelry making.

I even have experience fulfilling corporate gift orders as well as various wholesale accounts. Though I've slowed down a bit as I've gotten older and don't take on these types of orders on anymore, I do have that experience and have had the pleasure of working with companies like Volvo Trucks and Toyota.
