Why I Created Speak Life Designs
After being let go from my job, I realized it was a direct response to a prayer I had spoken earlier that day. I had asked God to remove anything from my life that didn't align with His will. Forty-five minutes later, I was released from my role. This was a pivotal moment for me, and it felt like God was finally pointing me in the direction I'd been searching for.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve felt like I was meant for more, but I could never quite put my finger on what that looked like. I’ve always been creative and dreamt of being an entrepreneur, longing for the freedom to live life on my terms. But like many, I found myself caught in the rat race, trying different things, hoping something would stick.
Being let go from my job was the turning point that led me to surrender fully to what God was calling me to do. No more guessing or throwing spaghetti at the wall—this time, I knew I had to walk in faith. I wanted to create something meaningful that would also give me the freedom to tend to my loved ones without needing permission from a boss. That’s how Speak Life Designs was born.
For me, the phrase Speak Life carries deep significance. Our words have the power to create either life or death, and I choose to speak life over others. My goal is to create a brand that reflects this belief—where I can use my creativity to inspire and encourage people through my designs. Speak Life Designs is more than just a business; it's my way of living out my purpose and helping others discover theirs.
