Moisturizing with no white sheen left behind, our Ocean & Coral Reef Safe Zinc Oxide sunscreen provides strong sun protection with few concerns; it's a powdered mineral that doesn't break down in the sun, sitting on top of the skin, scattering, reflecting and absorbing UVA and UVB rays.
It's coral-reef safe, ocean safe and safe for aquatic life. This chemical free sunscreen is mixed at the max ratio of zinc oxide, giving you the maximum sun protection possible.
Our natural sunscreen is made with organic ingredients that will provide sun protection, moisturize and hydrate your dry skin all at the same time! Because this physical sunscreen uses coconut oil for even more sun protection, it's meant to protect your body; we recommend our Bestselling Organic BB Cream for sun protection for your face.
Zinc oxide is the Environmental Working Group's first choice for sun protection. It's a physical, mineral sunscreen; stable in sunlight and provides greater protection from UVA rays than titanium dioxide or any other sunscreen chemical approved in the U.S. (www.ewg.com).
Our chemical free sunscreen offers the options of "Scented" with organic tea tree and lavender essential oils for natural bug repellent or "Unscented", with no essential oils (and of course, never any fragrance oils). We recommend the Unscented for children under five. Our zinc oxide is non-nano, non-micro and uncoated.
Our sunscreen comes in a re-usable tin or paperboard push-up tubes (due to supply issues, we are currently not carrying the paperboard tubes).
