Organic BB Cream

The true definition of a BB Cream is a tinted sunscreen with moisturizer. This is a sheer coverage that provides all day sun protection, blurs pores and imperfections and improves skin tone and texture over time.

Beeswax is a natural humectant, locking moisture into skin and creating a barrier between your skin and outside elements and irritants. Shea Butter is loaded with Vitamin A and E and is a natural collagen and imitates silicone, helping to heal and plump up skin. Organic Grapeseed makes it ideal for acne prone skin and won't cause breakouts; Calendula flowers add extra Vitamin C. We get our coloring from organic cacao powder which is touted for its anti-aging benefits. 

Because it's completely organic (no minerals or iron oxides) and made with with ocean and coral reef safe uncoated, non-nano and non-micro zinc oxide (the EWG #1 choice for sun protection), we recommend going at least one shade darker than normal due to the natural coloring. This BB Cream is not meant to "color" skin; instead it self-adjusts and because it's mixed at the maximum ratio of zinc oxide, it provides you the maximum sun protection (approximately a 35-40+ SPF, if it was rated). It's designed to protect your skin and not give a white tint due to the sunscreen (think lifeguard's noses). 

Allow your skin to breathe and nourish it! For a natural, dewey look, wear your BB Cream by itself. Or, if you desire more coverage, a matte look or have oily skin, follow it with a mineral or organic powder. 

THIS IS NOT A FOUNDATION. IT WILL NOT HIDE BLEMISHES OR GIVE YOU FULL COVERAGE. It is lighter in coverage due to being iron oxide and mica free. It is creamier, due to being water and alcohol free. 

If you have dry to normal skin, this works great!  If you have oily skin, you will want to pair this foundation with our Organic Powder (for natural coverage) or our Mineral Powder (for full coverage).

While it won't hide severe problem skin by itself, it is formulated to correct and heal acne, sun spots, wrinkles and fine lines. 

Beeswax provides natural water and sweat proof protection, perfect for summer days.

Because we don't use water or alcohol, you will need to rub this in about three-four times more than you would with "traditional" products. The more you rub this in, the more “matte” it will appear.  For a video tutorial on how to apply this BB Cream, check out the video below.
