18.5 inch (47 cm) teal and gold pendant necklace features a 1.5 inch (3.81 cm) round polymer clay mokume gane abstract pendant in vibrant shades of teal, gold, burgundy and white on a chain of upcycled vintage raw brass accented with wire-wrapped 6mm vintage Czechoslovakian fire polished clear glass beads and a handmade hook and eye clasp.
The lightweight abstract pendant has been sanded and buffed to a high shine. The back of the pendant is solid-colored and subtly textured. Attachment holes are drilled in the upper third to prevent it flipping over when worn.
Necklace is 18.5 inches long, including clasp. The red brass chain for this OOAK avant garde statement necklace was reclaimed from 1970/80's warehouse deadstock. The chain, wire wraps and matching clasp will develop a lovely bronze patina over time. If desired, you can coat the brass with a tiny dab of paste wax or mineral oil and buff off the excess with a soft cloth to maintain the light coppery color. Remove jewelry before swimming or showering.
CoolGiraffe Design creates jewelry, accessories, and decor that blend modern polymer clay with vintage beads and recycled materials.
