Hand Made Leather Hair Barrettes - by Buzz (Old Cowboy Leather)

Ohhh Cher! - look at these beauties! 

These are made by the one and only, Buzz Baird - professional old school saddle-maker, cowboy, and leathercraft extraordinaire! 

He also happens to be Miss Sha's Dad! Buzz makes hair accessories when he has some extra time. These are mostly just basic patterns and colors, but he can add some bling to them. 

So if you have a specific color in mind, or something special, like your initials, please let Mama Sha' know and she can have Buzz make you something special or as a gift for someone you know. 

The colors are all pretty straightforward.  

We do offer some metallic leather colors, which are phenomenal - but there is a slight upcharge to those because the leather is considerably more expensive on our end. So be mindful - if you select a Blue Color, do not be surprised when it is not metallic blue.  Metallic colors are considered 'custom'.  Thank you for your understanding! 

Why leather over some other material?  

Leather is natural and was likely used by your ancestors for a variety of things.  Leather is exceptionally strong and built to last. 

It can take alot of wear and tear and still hold up.  It will 'age in place' - meaning the more you use it, the more character it will develop as it ages.   

These barrettes will last for years and years! 

If they warp a bit out of shape from wear, simply remove the wooden stick, dampen the back of the barrette with a wet washcloth, and replace the wooden stick. Leave it overnight and the following day, it will be good as new. 

Buzz also makes oil pouches that carry the 1/2 oz glass bottles of magickal oils.  You can find those pouches on the website under 3, 5 or 7 oils.  And he makes leather tarot cases and medicine bags!
