About this Product
This cutting board was created with Sapele Mahogany, Cherry and Curly Maple wood with a Purpleheart accent and assembled in an edge grain style. Each piece of wood was carefully cut and sanded before assembly with proper gluing and finishing on all sides. Using the edge grain provides a stronger, more durable cutting surface. The board has finger grooves on each end to aid in lifting along with rubber feet to protect your countertops.
As with all wood boards used for food, proper care should be taken. Hand washing, without submerging, using warm water and a small amount of dish soap will keep your board clean. After cleaning, you should follow up with a good buffing of wood conditioner which can be purchased with this board or separately from our shop.
This board makes a great addition to your kitchen or to give as a wedding or housewarming gift!
