Natural Baby Bum Ointment (No Zinc)
As the title suggests this is an ointment for baby’s bum especially when they get red skin or inflammation from being exposed to too much wetness. Baby’s skin is delicate and we use delicate ingredients like bentonite clay to absorb and beeswax and jojoba oil (a liquid wax) to create a barrier on baby’s bum keeping wetness at bay. Shea butter softens skin and Aloe Vera soothes the redness. All natural ingredients, never any chemicals or bad stuff.
Ingredients: Grapeseed Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil, Calendula, Chamomile, Yarrow, Shea Butter, Bentonite Clay, Aloe Vera, Tea Tree Oil, Beeswax.

How it’s Made
I melt shea butter for 20 minutes in a double boiler then add my oils (same oils and herbs as in our Soothing Baby Body Oil) and a tad of beeswax. Once melted and combined, I let cool and add aloe Vera, bentonite clay and a few drops of Tea Tree Oil then blend so that it has a whipped consistency and pipe it into glass jars.
