Contemporary Whimsy with a Vintage Soul...Eras Jewelry

Eras jewelry designs come to life through the artistic collaboration of a mother and daughter team, both seasoned and skilled jewelry artisans. Drawing inspiration from their rich background in fine arts. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted, reflecting a harmonious blend of creativity, experience, and passion for the timeless art of jewelry making.

Our passion for jewelry creation drives us to craft pieces that hold deep significance and meaning for you. From the special moments in life to celebrating your loved ones, our jewelry becomes a symbol of joy and cherished memories.

Being part of an artistic family, jewelry-making is not just a profession but a calling, a tradition passed down from generations. My mother's European heritage influences her designs, drawing inspiration from the opulence of royalty and the whimsy of fairytales. She specializes in unique handcrafted textile jewelry, using vintage lace and Swarovski crystals, creating pieces with meticulous bead embroidery.
Our family's legacy includes goldsmiths who made artisan filigree jewelry. Their work sparked my early interest in making jewelry. Dragonflies hold a special place in our designs, embodying mystique and inspiration, symbolizing light, creativity, beauty, and love. We are grateful for the opportunity to share our passion with you, creating special pieces to be cherished in your life's journey. Thank you for being a part of our artistic journey.

Embark on an enchanting journey with my captivating collection of artisan jewelry. Discover a fusion of styles inspired by Art Deco, Victorian, and Bohemian influences, featuring intricate filigree, whimsical dragonfly, and alluring steampunk designs. Each piece is a treasure that brings fantasy to life and tells a story of creativity and artistry.

ABOUT OUR JEWELRY:

At Eras Jewelry, each piece is an original design crafted with meticulous care and exceptional craftsmanship. The process is time-intensive, with some pieces taking several days to create, ensuring unparalleled artistry and attention to detail.

Only the highest quality materials are used, featuring vintage and new Czechoslovakian, West German, and Austrian glass jewels, as well as brilliant Swarovski crystals. The filigrees, sourced from the original manufacturers with a century-old history, lend an authentic touch to the designs, some being genuine antiques or reproductions made with original dies.

Every step in the process is done by hand, including burnishing and polishing each component to achieve a beautiful vintage bronze patina. The filigrees are then carefully customized, hand sculpted, layered, and soldered, creating unique settings for vintage glass gems.

The final result is a timeless heirloom-quality jewelry piece, meticulously crafted to perfection. A symbol of enduring beauty, each Eras Jewelry creation is destined to be cherished for years to come.

How it’s Made

Several hours of work go into each original design purchased from BelleArtis, one piece may take various days to create. Each piece is made with exceptional craftsmanship and commitment to detail. This guarantees that you are purchasing an authentic jewelry work of art unsurpassed by any other piece of its kind.

Materials used are the highest quality, including a variety of vintage and new Czechoslovakian, West German, Austrian glass jewels or brilliant Swarovski crystals. The filigrees are made in the USA or Europe and purchased from the original manufacturers, some of whom have worked with the likes of M Haskell back in the day. The filigrees are stamped from jewelers brass and have been used for more than a 100 years in the art of jewelry design. You may see many of them on antique jewelry because they are genuine antiques or reproductions made with the original dies still in service today. Vintage filigrees which are difficult to find are often used in my designs.

After selecting the best jewelers brass components available, each and every piece goes through an intricate process of several steps, all done by hand to burnish and polish each component to a beautiful vintage bronze patina.

The filigrees are then customized, hand sculpted and/or layered by me to create unique settings for vintage glass gems. Then comes one final quality control check with more polishing and the end result is a timeless heirloom quality jewelry design to be enjoyed for many years to come.
