Meet the Maker

Hi there! I’m Linda Anne aka The Beach Mystic. I started working with resin in 2022 to learn how to make orgone generators aka orgonite.

Orgonite is part home decor and part metaphysical tool consisting of metals and crystals/quartz in resin. It is believed the resin draws the energy in, the metals push it out and the crystals (quartz) transmute the energy to a higher vibration providing protection and raising the energetic frequency of those around it.

Similar to the metaphysical properties of crystals, it is considered more of a tool for spiritual practice than of science. I make no claims that any of my creations will cure, treat, prevent or aid in diagnosis of any disease or illness. Crystal energy and metaphysical concepts aside, each piece is a unique work of art.

Supplies are consciously sourced by only purchasing crystals from reputable sellers and collaborating with other small businesses for supplies. Many items I use are up-cycled, donated or traded as well.

Working with crystals appeals to my metaphysical side while resin art appeals to my scientific side and sometimes all sides intertwine. Music is always played while created and my craft room is a sacred space.  Though resin is my primary focus, I also enjoy paint crafts, origami, decoupage, digital photography, and recently began sewing again.

Join our Community/Facebook Group for more about my resin creations and orgonite while sharing what ignites your creative spark: The Beach Mystic Community

Most of my resin art videos are shared to the group but all of them are on my TikTok channel. Find me there as @thebeachmystic for all my resin art video content with some personal favorites sprinkled in between - my dog Poochie, my favorite band Phish and nature.

All products are handcrafted one at a time. It is rare to create twoidentical items. Due to nature of the materials used, there may be blemishes/variations that are not product flaws. Such variations are inherent in the creation of handmade products with resin, crystals and metals so you may expect minor distinctions such as a few bubbles, divots, lines and other characteristics that make your product unique. Sometimes notable flaws occur but the product is still sellable. When this happens, I will note this on the product description and in photos and list the product at a discounted price.

Any piece that contains the ratio of approximately 50 percent metals by volume, in all or most parts as well as containing quartz in some form will be labeled as orgone/orgonite. Some pieces contain crystals either fused to the outside, within view or out of view. Some pieces are accessorized with crystals and others are blended with finely crushed crystals and metals mixed in the resin. Very few pieces contain no crystals or metals. Seller does her best to include all of this information in each product description but if there are any questions, please ask prior to purchasing.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL AND NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES WILL BE GIVEN with the exception of goods that arrive damaged. Should you receive an item that is damaged, please notify seller within 24 hours of receipt to arrange for a return and refund or exchange.

Caring for your resin product - includes important safety information:

Resin is quite durable but can become damaged by heat. Therefore, it is strongly recommended that you do not place anything that is too hot to touch on or close to your item(s). Excessive heat may cause visual flaws to resin and burning it is toxic. Do not put any of your resin art in the microwave or dishwasher.

Your resin art can be cleaned with and briefly submerged in water with no bad effects.  The best way to clean your piece is to wipe it with a soft damp cloth and dry with a soft cloth. Please do not use any harsh solvents or chemicals and please do not scrub with anything abrasive.

Even non yellowing resin will turn faintly yellow over time. Exposure to sunlight speeds up this process. Therefore, it is recommended you do not keep your resin art creation in direct sunlight.

Do not store food in or on your resin. While there’s differing theories about “food safe” resin, I tend to err on the side of caution and recommend you do not place anything you plan to ingest in direct contact with your resin creation. Items that are dry and covered such as nuts with closed shells and candies in wrappers are fine. Always research and inquire when in doubt.

If you drop your resin art, depending on the thickness and shape, it may become broke or dented. Also, while I  trim and file any sharp edges, if the edge or corner of certain items come into swift contact with your body it may cause injury. In other words, though your piece is quite durable, still handle with care.
