This is a beautiful pair of handmade earrings featuring gleaming freshwater cultured pearls that dangle faceted aqua chalcedony teardrops that are wire wrapped in oxidized copper wire. They are 2 1/4 inches long from the top of the copper ear wires and about 1/2 of an inch wide.

How it’s Made
I made these earrings by first wire wrapping the 9 mm button Freshwater Button Pearls with 24 gauge Copper wire, creating wire wrapped loops at the top and bottom to making sure the flat side of the Pearl always stays in back. Then I wrapped the Aqua Chalcedony teardrops with 26 gauge Copper wire, and attached them to the Pearls with Copper jump rings. I placed the earrings on simple Copper ear wires and put them in a Liver of Sulfur bath to oxidized. Then I polished them to bring out the Copper highlights.
