ABOUT WAIST APRONS

All aprons are black. Monitor settings and lighting tend to make them look lighter or navy blue in some photos, but they are all solid black.
Our aprons are 35/65 cotton twill. They are durable, high quality and come enhanced with stain release technology which allow stains to be removed much easier during laundering and help the apron retain it dark black color. These aprons are much higher quality than you will find in the big box stores.
Our aprons have 3 pockets on the front and 3 pockets on the inside. Please note that once we add your name to the front left bottom pocket, that this pocket will then only be a half pocket on both the outside and the inside. I have been told by waitresses that this actually helps with carrying straws or their phone in this pocket.
Our aprons have long ties and are able to wrap around the body and tie in the front for most people.
Your custom name will be added to the front left bottom of the apron, which will be on YOUR left side when wearing the apron. If you would like the name on the right side or even in the middle please just add a message in the text box where you add the name.
We will embroider your name with our high quality color fast embroidery thread in the color and font of your choice.

2.Choose your font style that you would like your name embroidered in
3.Choose the thread color for your name
4.Please fill out the personalization box to include the name you want embroidered on your apron. PLEASE WRITE THE NAME AS YOU WANT IT EMBROIDERED !!
Please use the personalization to explain any details such as the placement of the name if you want it in a different place than shown in the photos.
If I have questions, I will reach out to you. If your instructions are not clear, then I won’t start embroidering until I hear back from you and this could delay your order. Please keep an eye on your e-mail inbox for any emails from me!

Order processing usually takes 2-5 days and may take a day or two longer around holidays. We ship from Texas and we ship within the US only at this time.
Once I drop your package off at my local USPS I do not have any control over how long the shipping takes. Please allow for bad weather and holiday rushes.

Meet the Maker
Thank you for visiting our shop. Bernie and I are delighted you decided to stop by. My name is Mechelle and Bernie is my Yorkiepoo sidekick.
Bernie and I live in the country in the deep woods of east Texas. We live in a one bedroom cozy cabin underneath large oak trees and very tall pine trees filled with thousands of birds, squirrels and the occasional adorable raccoon.
I’m definitely an animal lover and being in the country I get to see a lot of wildlife. I would consider myself lucky to be able to say that.
I also enjoy making things for family, and doing projects around my little cabin. It’s not always easy living in the woods tho. I do love the peacefulness and solitude it brings, but there will always be a part of me that still enjoys connecting with other people.
So, it just made sense to me to fill that lack of connection with an online shop. A small shop gives me the opportunity to still interact with people and do things for others.
I know a lot of makers and artisans love their alone time and I’m no different. Living almost an hour away from busy highways and bustling businesses has its perks but, it’s also nice to know that someone somewhere is anxiously awaiting for something to arrive in their mailbox that I made just for them. That’s a very gratifying feeling that makes that hour long drive to the post office that much more enjoyable.

How it’s Made
We start with the most durable and highest quality aprons we could find and embroidered the names on them with color fast embroidery thread in the font and thread color you choose. We always get compliments on the quality and feel of our aprons. Most of our customers are waitress and so is my daughter so I know the apron you choose is important and you want it to last ! That’s why we chose to buy a higher quality apron with stain release technology and a thicker feel fabric. It also looks great and the embroidery really pops on the black color.
