How it’s Made
Every design is drawn using in Scale Vector Graphics including the line weight which is flattened to ensure the enamel pin design line maintain the same line weight as designed by the artist SmallRiniLady (me). Each colour of the design is picked with a physical Pantone colour guide book to ensure that the enamel paint used for the pin will be mixed to match the colour I intended for the design.
I work with a small manufacturer which engraves the mold, stamps pours the pin using a nickel alloy. Each pin is then painted with hand mix batch of paint which is checked against the pantone colour guide before being used to hand paint each pin. The pins are electroplated to match the pin series or the the individual pin.
I check the quality of each pin and put them onto backing cards of my design.
