This is a handmade Railroad spike business card holder. They are CNC Machined into a used, worn, rustic Railroad spike. They are a great conversation piece for your desk. The rusted version is chemically aged/rusted and NOT SEALED unless specifically asked to do so at the time of purchase.
This black version is POWDER COATED. Powder coating is a high-quality polymer resin finish electro-statically sprayed onto the sign. It is then cured in an oven at 400° where it melts the resin powder together. It provides a more durable finish than liquid paints can offer, while still providing an attractive finish. Powder coated products are more resistant to diminished coating quality as a result of impact, moisture, chemicals, ultraviolet light, and other extreme weather conditions. In turn, this reduces the risk of scratches, chipping, abrasions, corrosion, fading, and other wear issues. It's tough. It looks great. And it lasts a long, long time.
