Sterling silver hand carved circle drop earrings with an interesting circular linear design. They hang from hammered sterling sticks, making them dramatic and eye-catching. Lightweight and easy to wear, perfect for everyday. Finished with a black patina and polished to make the hand carved line work contrast with the silver.
With a nicely detailed back they have more carved patterns on the reverse side. They are marked with my maker's mark.
The earrings are on sterling silver ear wires.
They measure about 5/8 x 2 inches (16x51mm). Together with the ear wires they hang about 2 1/4 inches (57mm).

Meet the Maker
I am a craftsperson making artfully hand-carved sterling silver jewelry. I make jewelry for art lovers. My work is modern, free-spirited and uncommon. When you purchase a piece from me, you are getting a special treasure to enjoy for years to come.
My background as a graphic designer influences everything I create. Carving, line, shape and texture are always at the forefront. Each piece is individually hand carved, imparting a richness of pattern and texture. Because of the nature of hand-carving, my jewelry has a special uniqueness-- no two pieces will ever be exactly alike!
Some fun facts: I started designing and making silver jewelry in 2008, and began selling my work in 2009. I have made over 3000 pieces since then! I'm a Rio Grande certified artisan in metal clay and have achieved level one of the Metal Clay Masters Registry (https://metalclaynow.com/index.php/gallery/masters-registry). I'm also a graduate of Paier School of Art and have worked all my life as a designer. My jewelry collections have been represented in shops and galleries across the United States.
My studio practices are eco-friendly. I use non-toxic and recycled materials whenever possible. I care about our earth and the health of all beings.
Pieces are offered in solid sterling silver or sterling silver accented with a pure, 22 karat gold overlay that is hand-applied.

How it’s Made
I made the domed, carved freeform circles from sterling silver and soldered them to a length of silver wire that I hammered. I then drilled the end of the wire to make a hole for the ear wires. The domed circles were treated with a black patina finish, which I then polished to reveal the shiny silver areas. This enhances the detail of the carving.

My work is warrantied against defects. This warranty does not cover wear and tear, scratches or obvious abuse.
