Ties come with multiple colors of interchangeable tie wraps that allow for customization for any occasion. Spring family social? Summer dinner party? Fall wedding? There is a tie wrap color to match each occasion.
Wooden bow ties are laser cut from locally sourced wood product. Ties measure 4.5 x 1.5 inches.
Bow ties include an elastic strap that easily clips and fits under the collar. All ties are one size fits all. Upon ordering, customers can select 3 bow tie wrap colors as a part of the order.
All wooden bow ties ship in a carrying case that holds the tie, all wraps, and the adjustable elastic strap.

Meet the Maker
Hi! My name is Nathan and I live in Colorado with my boyfriend and 2 dogs. I started Grain Knots out of my passion for woodworking projects. Growing up surrounded by wood shops and work benches was common place, I attribute much of my creativity and interest to my family. After college, my first apartment in Indiana included a garage which I quickly turned into my first maker space. I furnished my apartment with self-made tables, shelving, and a coffee bar. Learning new skills with the ever building library of tools, I moved to Colorado to be closer to the outdoors: hiking, camping, biking. I bought a house and again turned my garage into a maker space. With the purchase of a laser cutter and engraver that I first set up in my kitchen, I found a whole new passion in woodworking for customizable and personalized projects.
Making both small and large scale products, Grain Knots specializes in wood products that meet any occasion. Our products are designed with intent and purpose. We use locally sourced wood materials from Colorado and also pride ourselves in using recycled materials in innovative ways to bring elegance and charm to a new product. How it’s Made
Our wooden bow ties are cut from high quality wood at 3-5mm thick. All ties are stained and poly coated to highlight the fine grain details in the wood and ensuring lasting use.
The ties come with multiple colors of tie wraps that allow for customization for any occasion.
