Dress #1- This dress is made from two different cotton prints, an orange with tiny, tiny pin dots and a peach with a multicolor vine design. The bodice has cap sleeves and an aqua ribbon bow for decoration. The skirt is gathered and mid calf length and features a border of the bodice fabric along the hem for interest.
Dress #2- This cute dress is made out of a orange floral print. The neckline is a high V-neck and the sleeves three quarter length with puffs. The skirt is gathered and tea length and has a crisp white ruffle along the bottom. A large, glossy, white ribbon bow at the waistline adds visual interest.
Dress #3- This fun cotton dress has a Mexican feel with its bright orange tiny polka dot and turquoise and orange stylistic leaf print fabrics. The bodice and skirt ruffle are made from the bright popping orange print, while the short sleeves and full gathered skirt are in the turquoise print. The skirt is just knee length making it the perfect dress for summer!
These dresses fit 11.5" Fashion Dolls/1:6 scale dolls/play scale dolls (fits best on a doll that is either articulated or can raise its arms to the sides and ones with standard or narrow hips; some dresses may fit wider hipped dolls depending on style; please contact if not sure) and are created to hold up to much use. All our doll dresses are made, not only with style and beauty in mind, but durability as well. The bodices are lined, and all seams are finished with multiple zig-zag stitching.
Care Instructions: For small dirt spots use a clean wash cloth or rag and rub the spot out with lukewarm soapy water. For heavy duty cleaning, gently swish/lightly scrub dress together in warm soapy water. Empty water and rinse in a tub of clean water. Pat dry with a towel and let air dry. Iron on low setting if desired, watching out for lace and trims that might melt. If dress has red fabric or super pigmented fuchsia or coral fabric, DO NOT do heavy duty cleaning. Spot clean dirty area with a lukewarm soapy wash cloth or rag. Otherwise fabric may bleed onto other fabric colors.

Meet the Maker
Hello, and welcome to Yankee Doodle Darlings! We are a family of sisters that enjoy creating all types of things. Sewing, art, design, and anything that strikes our fancy! We grew up watching our mom sew and create items to decorate our house, and I guess you could say we caught the creative bug! It started out when we were little, making more dresses for our paper dolls (they never had enough!), and over the years it has landed us here.
How it’s Made
All our dresses are handmade by us using quality materials, and old fashioned industry, labor, and skill. ALL our fashion doll clothes have lined bodices unless specified and ALL our fashion doll clothes have finished seams either by multiple zigzagging or by enclosure; depending on the fabric and dress style, the skirts of our doll dresses are also often lined or have an attached petticoat (see individual listings). We strive to create fashion doll clothes that are so realistic and beautiful that our customers wish they themselves could wear the dress and yet so durable that they become a family heirloom handed down to future generations. A Yankee Doodle Darlings fashion doll dress is designed to fit like a glove yet be easy to put on and take off. We try to sewn on all the little details such as buttons, beads, and trims for durability but at times must use a durable glue (see individual listings).

Clothing
We understand that buying clothing online can be a risk, which is why we allow returns on clothing. Please see below for particulars.

We do not do exchanges. For clothing, if you realize the size you ordered is too small or too big, we suggest returning the item for a refund and reordering in the correct size.
