Harmony in Motion is an original abstract painting created on a 12”x16” canvas panel. This painting features bold and dynamic brushstrokes. Its mixture of vibrant colors, which include orange, burnt sienna, deep blue and subtle whites, creates a vivid piece of artwork. The composition includes striking black splatter-like markings and irregular shapes that add depth and contrast. The overall feel of the piece is energetic and expressive.

Meet the Maker
My name is Camille Goscicki, and I'm from Sterling Heights, Michigan (Metro Detroit area). When I retired in 2021, I wasn't sure what to do with the next chapter in my life. As I sat on the couch, attempting to watch daytime television, I had a couple of revelations. One: I hate daytime television. Two: Napping is overrated. Three: Eureka! I needed to stir up my brain cells and I couldn't do that just sitting around!
Flashback to my childhood: I loved to draw and paint. I was no child genius, mind you. But it was a fun pastime. Eureka! I thought to myself. I'll take art lessons! And that, my friends, is why I'm here today, and my hands are often colorful, along with my clothes.
After stuttering along for a while, I finally discovered that I love creating with acrylic paints (and other media, such as India inks, acrylic inks, and spray inks). That has been my focus for the last 3 years. It's been wonderful, (and challenging) to learn new skills and to find my artistic voice. Besides creating art, i enjoy reading, exercising for brain and body fitness, and discovering new music through Spotify.
I live with my husband of 40 years, and we have an adult married daughter who lives in Amsterdam with her husband and our grandcat, Rocky.
How it’s Made
2 layers of gesso were used to prime canvas panel
Underpainting using patches of Matisse flow paints - let this layer dry
Painted second layer using Titan Mars pale and unbleached titanium - let this layer dry
Added patches of greens/blues
Glazed some areas with ultramarine blue and burnt sienna
Used stencils to add elements
Created focal point with black acrylic ink

Currently, I'm only shipping within the U.S.
It will take 1 to 3 business days for me to pack and ship your purchase (drop off at UPS) UPS Ground shipping takes 1 to 5 days to deliver to your residence. The package will be shipped to the name and address indicated on the order.

My goal is that you will be completely happy with your purchase, so every order and sale is handled with care, clarity, and transparency.
If you decide you don't want the purchased artwork, you have seven (7) business days from the date of delivery to return the item back to me in original condition and I’ll be happy to provide a full refund.

Original artwork facts
All original paintings are finished with a UV and moisture-resistant acrylic coating.
Unless otherwise indicated:
Paintings on canvas panels come framed in black frames, without a glass covering
Paintings on watercolor or acrylic paper come framed in a simple black frame, with 2" matting.
