Meet the Maker
I am a retired teacher of Deaf and hard of hearing kids. I have always enjoyed crafting and have wanted an embroidery machine for years. I gave myself one as a retirement gift and started playing. I dabbled with craft shows and kid things seemed to sell the best for me so I worked on expanding what I sold. I started with clothes for elves and then added doll clothes, elf clothes are completely made on the embroidery machine. Doll clothes almost always have embroidery on there and there sewn on the sewing machine,
How it’s Made
Dress is sewn using broadcloth-a cotton/polyester fabric. Overlay is polytastic-a thin, soft polyester fabric. Dress is fastened using a thin Velcro. Top overlay is embroidered on an embroidery machine and then trimmed to make an edging.
Dress is made with materials that are compliant with US Child Safety Products requirements.
