This is a right hand pancake holster for the classic 1911. The holster is handcrafted of vegetable tanned leather , hand dyed a beautiful dark walnut color and crafted to last a life time of use. the holster has an acrylic finish to help protect it from use and moisture. This holster is made for a Commander 1911 with standard front sights , not the high rise front sights that are on some firearms. The holster is made of Herman Oak American tanned leather.

Meet the Maker
My name is Steven Shell, I am a retired fire fighter and fire marshal from a city in Northeast Tennessee. I have lived here in the beautiful mountains of Northeast Tennessee all my life. As a fire marshal I was a police officer also where I graduated from the police academy at Walter State Community College. I later went on to complete my degree in Criminal Justice. Working in law enforcement I became interested in fire arms and holsters. I started crafting my own holsters about a year ago; after friends and work associates saw my holsters they wanted me to make holsters for them. I love working with my hands designing and creating projects that I can be proud to put my makers mark on.
