About this Product

This compact, one-of-a-kind calendar features a dozen of Coreyartus Imagery’s incredible teacup illustrations in a 12-month calendar collection. Done by hand without the assistance of AI-image generators, each page was drawn and painted stroke by stroke in Procreate on an Apple iPad. No tracing and no photo filters. Just a lot of heart.

This art calendar measures 7 inches wide by 10 inches tall, and displays each page as a full print, with an inset calendar. White wire coils and a wire suspension hanger loop at the top accommodate the flip of each page instead of center-fold staples or plastic spirals, richly elevating the look and feel of the calendar.

Each page is printed on double-sided 215gsm professional matte photo paper using a professional 8-color print system. Intended for prints, this 80lb paper allows you to annotate your calendar easily with a pencil, pens, and markers. The matte surface is both unique and elegant, giving it a stylistic flavor that is quite different from the high-gloss reflective look of mass-produced commercially printed calendars. The paper enhances the deep and richly saturated colors of each print. Each page is printed front and back in the studio and assembled by the artist, resulting in a lightweight 7-page calendar plus cover that would look good in any home or office.

SPECIAL BONUS! When you purchase the calendar, you also receive downloadable versions of each image that can be used as smartphone and tablet wallpapers! All twelve teacup illustrations are vertically formatted for use as a background image on a phone and horizontally for tablets. Change your wallpapers to match the month or select and choose a different image depending on your preferences and mood throughout the year. A special gift you can share with your family, friends and colleagues. Perfect as a Christmas gift, New Year gifts or Birthday presents. Everyone will thank you all year long for this thoughtful gift. A calendar is an ideal gift for someone who is hard to buy for, and it’s a great last-minute gift idea.

How it’s Made

Each image of this calendar was done by hand in the app Procreate on an iPad Pro using an Apple Pencil. All except two of the reference images I used to paint these images were taken by me, from a collection of teacups belonging to my Grandmother-in-Law. One of the teacups is my own--my very first teacup in what I am sure will be years of enjoying their gathering. I used it for the month of December.

My family regularly has tea together after we eat at our holiday and special gatherings, often with desert. The teacups that we use have been gifted and purchased over almost 100 years. We drag them out of cabinets and the hutch so we can enjoy them with each other, and they have come to be heirlooms that we cherish.

I had the great pleasure of photographing a good portion of them over the Easter holiday weekend in 2024, but got the opportunity to get more images later that August. I had already been using them to draw on my livestreams, and enjoyed the process immensely. Each cup, I learned, came with different challenges. The different prints or motifs were just the beginning! Each had a different quality and finish of glaze that reflected the light differently. Each had different shades of light depending on the time of day and angle of the sun from the original photograph, and each had a different base tone that wasn't always pure white. The size and shape of the saucers and edge of the cups were all different, and some had ridges and shaping... Each of them was a unique experience to draw!

I have most of the images saved as livestream presentations and speedpaints that you can find on my video page on MakerTube.net. Here's the playlist link:https://makertube.net/w/p/3NZnRfTfDz9Dm1KnxsQAE6

Shop Reviews (3)

I'm a returning customer. My first order was specifically for myself, while this second order was for others. I enjoyed browsing through all the card designs and really appreciate the single card options. It allowed me to buy three different cards for three very different individuals. Once again, the cards arrived in perfect condition, and they look even lovelier in person. This is a wonderful shop for unique cards, stationary, and more!

I purchased two of the "2025 Illustrated Teacups Flip Art Calendar, 7x10"". This calendar is soooo pretty. I like that it is smaller than "normal" calendars. The calendar months/initials of the days of the week, and dates are easy to read. But the beautiful teacups, of course, take center stage. The quality of the printing is beautiful. On the back of the calendar is a story behind the teacups that were used for the art. I used to collect teacups and teapots, I had waaayyy too many. This calendar is a perfect replacement. I purchased two, one is going to a close tea-loving friend for her birthday/recent retirement; and the other one I'm keeping for my self. ♥♥

I purchased a set of waterfall cards from Coreyartus Imagery, but I don’t plan to use them as greetings; I actually purchased them to use in my personal meditation practice. When I saw Corey’s waterfall scenes, I fell in love with their ability to transport me into a different world. They’re even more beautiful in person. I’m really pleased with this purchase as well as the great customer service and thoughtful packaging by Corey. Such a wonderful shop to buy from!
