So, what to make out of some fabric scraps?
An awesome sling bag with 2 matching small pouches!
This 3 piece set is made from black cotton fabric with red Asian symbols and spotted with some gold symbols as well. They are all lined in a black on black shiny stripe fabric
The purse is quite large with the bottom being wider than the top – It closes with 2 ties – The strap is wide and goes all the way around the bag.
The wristlet pouch is made the same way but closes with a silver tooth zipper. It has a flat bottom
The small pouch is a simple coin purse and closes with a gold tooth zipper
The purse is:
16” across bottom – 14” across top – 11" tall and has 4 ½” wide base – Strap is 37” long
The Wristlet is:
8” wide x 6” tall with 2” wide base – Strap is 6” doubled
The coin pouch is:
5” wide x 4 ½” tall
I figure if you have a huge purse, your small things need a special place so they don’t get lost at the bottom of the purse :o)
Care: Spot clean is best but they can be washed in cold water – you will just have to do some ironing when dry :o)

Meet the Maker
I am a mom of 2 and Grandma to 3 precocious little ones! I have crafted my entire life (Thanks, MOM!) and worked the last 16 years in a Tailoring Shop. Now that I am retired, it is time to share my stash of "creations". I sew, knit, crochet and embroider mostly, although I have dabbled in painting some wood crafts and am attempting some jewelry creations. I am an active "scavenger" for vintage fabric, trims, buttons, beads, buckles, baubles and other odd items to use in my creations. Because of this, I rarely make the same item twice the same way. I feel this ensures a type of personalization for each unique customer!
