- Shaping: Additional manual shaping may be done to refine the design and ensure all elements are accurate.
4. Smoothing and Finishing
- Hand Grinding: After cutting, each piece is hand-ground to smooth out any rough edges and remove any burrs or imperfections from the cutting process. This step ensures a clean and professional finish.
- Bare Finish Option: The rack can be left with its natural steel finish, showcasing a darker gray color with visible buffing marks. This rustic look can be left as is or can develop a natural patina over time if exposed to the elements.
- Clear Coat Option: Alternatively, a clear coat can be applied to give the piece a shiny finish and provide additional protection against corrosion and wear.
5. Assembly and Quality Control
- Assembly: If the rack includes multiple components, they are assembled together. The hanging mechanisms (screws, magnets, or zip ties) are prepared and tested to ensure they are functional and secure.
