This was made from a cell phone photo of a couple standing in front of a railing and 2 waterfalls. Generated into a 3D model, Carved with a CNC router into solid maple. Then painted black, sanded and finished with a semi gloss clear. Obviously the results can be no better than the photo, and the more contrast the better. Contact us for a custom quote.

How it’s Made
This photo was carved by importing the photo into software that can then run a CNC router. The router cuts varying widths and depths of lines. Then the entire face is sealed, painted black and sanded again to reveal the varying degrees of darkness. Then it is clear coated to protect the image. The higher the resolution of photo we start with determines the amount of detail in the carving.
