I made a living in my youth, growing up in Cuba, by selling handmade figurines that I modeled out of clay, and painted in acrylic. As a child I made kites and other small toys, that kept me busy selling to the other kids in my neighborhood.
Over 20 years ago I started playing with the idea of reproducing my original figurines. I started with latex, and was unsatisfied. I became inspired by my wife's aunt, who was a very cutting edge and highly sought after cake and candy decorating artist. That gave my passion direction.
