Welcome!
It all began with a wedding...our wedding.
We are David & Derek and we work with you to craft celebration cake toppers, table numbers, labels & tags for your celebration.
We opened our shop to create unique and inclusive cake toppers, table decor, labels & tags for modern couples and their weddings, showers, birthdays, and adoption celebrations.
We sell only what we would be happy to receive & use. We both are aware of our high performance standards. Sometimes that means we make each other a bit crazy.
We know that the best designs come from great collaboration; we love working with brides, grooms, wedding professionals, & parents to create custom products for your family and friends.
We believe wholeheartedly in treating you as we would want to be treated. We do our best to exceed your expectations, while keepin’ it real…if we can’t do something to our standards or within your timeframe, we will let you know.

How it’s Made
Derek and I design our products in house. Sometimes it starts on paper with a very, very, very (often times unreadable) rough sketch. Most of the time one design comes out of another design and once it pops into my head I like to get it in my ideas folder before I forget. Later going back to it to see if it can be refined to something that works. There are ideas that seem to flow to completion quickly, some we let go of, and others seem to take months of crazy making to make work - why make ourselves crazy? Because, we know something is there. We create in Adobe Illustrator, Affinity designer, or Photoshop - the final version is completed in Affinity Designer. Once I have a layout that feels right Derek and I go back and forth on final design elements until we both feel it is where it needs to be before to make a prototype. Once that is completed we either give it the thumbs up and photograph it or we make tweaks to get it where we think it should be.
Shop Policies
Can I create a custom order?
Absolutely! Click on the "Contact Maker" link our shop's home page or listing pages. We will get back in touch with you within 24-48 hours to discuss. If your request is for a change in font - to another one we have access to - or for changes that do not require us to create a new template, we don't charge anything. If we are creating a new design or need to purchase a new font, custom designs start at $50+ depending on the level of design. You give us the details and we'll give you the cost so you can make an informed decision. We always ask you to approve the final design proof prior to producing your item(s).
Yikes - I need my order FAST. Can you speed up production?
YES! First: Let us know in the order notes your event date. We can always hustle a bit to get things done a little bit faster, but if your timing requires us to move your order to the front of the line, we will let you know you will have to put a RUSH on your order. RUSH production is $25, and we push to get rush order proofs sent usually with in 24 hours and completed in 2 days after approval of proof. RUSH production does not include expedited shipping...sometimes you can get by with one or the other, and sometimes you may need to pay for both rush production and expedited shipping.

- ...on a MON --> your topper ships WED end of day.
- ...on a TUE --> your topper ships THUR end of day.
- ...on a WED ---> your topper ships FRI end of day.
- ...on a THUR / FRI --> your topper ships MON end of day.
- ...on a SAT / SUN --> your topper ships TUE end of day.
Shipping and Processing your Order
Our commitment to you: we will ship your item by the date indicated when you place your order -- assuming you have approved any design proofs that may be part of your order. We ship almost exclusively via USPS. Our 'free shipping' is via USPS Ground Advantage or USPS 2-3 Day Priority depending on the weight of your purchase. We offer different shipping methods [Ground Advantage, priority, express] during check-out, so please choose the one that works best for your timing. IF we are unable to ship by the original date, we will always contact you to let you know, and will adjust the method of shipping accordingly.

Copying or redistributing any Taylor Street Favors designs or photos without our express consent is not allowed. We hope you love our designs, are inspired by our products and respect our exclusive right to this work.
