Meet the Maker
Hi, my name is Lori Montanez. I started my art journey about 6 years ago with my sisters. We get together once every couple of years and on this one particular get together our youngest sister introduced us to Fluid Art. That was all it took! I watched tons of YouTube videos and took an online class through SmartArtCourses. I have learned a lot but have my favorite techniques, which you will see in my clocks. I love the look of a ring pour. My canvas art is different techniques I have used over the last few years. Most of them are smaller pieces but I love them none the less. Not all paintings come out the way I want and instead of throwing them away I cut out what I consider to be redeemable sections and frame them. You will find those on my site also. My clocks are made from record albums and coasters. My vases are from different dollar stores. I love doing what I do and I hope you enjoy seeing it.
