It's a stylish tribute to the vibrant spirit and environmental consciousness of the 70's era and today.

Meet the Maker
My journey in the world of sewing started at the age of eight with the delicate art of hand embroidery. By the time I was twelve, I progressed to constructing my own clothes with a sewing machine. Over half a century of crafting with needle, thread, and an array of materials is a testament to my passion for sewing. The variety of items I've created over the years is very diverse and each one a unique expression. For the past few years, I’ve also been sourcing new and old materials that would otherwise end up in a landfill. My sewing room is where imagination and creativity are exercised daily!
How it’s Made
I chose an earthy mustard color that was popular in the 70’s, an upholstery sample fabric, rescued from being put in the landfill. Next, I embroidered a retro flower design onto the sample. Then, I added gems for a little bling. I used a rick rack to edge the pocket, which was an iconic trim at the time. I constructed the bag to be swung across the body via a long, rick rack strap. This crossbody bag is a creative fusion of past and present, blending eco-consciousness with retro fashion.

I accept returns under the following conditions. Item returned must be in the original new condition. Must contact me within 7 days of delivery. The item must be shipped back within 14 days of delivery. I accept cancellations as long as the item has not already shipped. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs.
