Thank you for looking at my shop.
Selling my products was always in the back of my mind, but I wasn't sure that I'd actually go through with it until I heard about GoImagine. That's because I like its focus on makers and what I'm going to call "Internet-Based Localism."
I always buy American, when even I can these days, but even more important to me is to buy locally. (Not to get political, but I think that a major contributor to the decline of local and rural American economies is a lack of commitment from local and rural Americans to support the business nearest them. I understand the need to save money where one can, but if you send all your money away to businesses hundreds or thousands of miles away, how will it ever come back to you?) Obviously, I'm selling online now, but by sourcing as much of my materials as I can locally, and by offering products that you can't get anywhere else anyway, I'm staying true to a ethic of Internet-Based Localism.
The only other thing to know about me is that I am not a seller by nature--I'm a maker. All of my products have been prototyped dozens of times at least. For the Team Captain, it's well over a hundred documented prototypes and I don't know how many others. Along the way I always seek as much input as I can get from my fellow pool players. This is all because I want to create the best user experience that I can not just for myself but for as many people as I can.

Processing Time:
For products in inventory: We guarantee that we will ship products in inventory within 3 days of receiving your order.
For custom products: We promise to keep our custom-order customers informed about the progress of their orders. Be aware that in cases where fulfilling an order requires us to acquire materials, such as specific colors of filament, 10 days must be added to the lead time. Other custom changes, such as in specifications or designs, must be handled on a case-by-case basis.
Our 30-day money-back guarantee against shipping damage:
If your MagnaRest product was damaged during shipping, please contact us at support@magnarest.com with a brief description of your experience receiving the package and/or unboxing the product. Please include pictures of both the box and the product as received. In these cases we will replace your product at no charge as quickly as possible. We expect to hear from you within 30 days of shipping the package. If there is a reason why you would contact us about shipping damage after 30 days, please let us know what it is.

What the MagnaRest Quality Warranty DOES NOT cover:
Minor manufacturing Imperfections: These are 3D printed products, a process that allows creativity and variation on the fly but that does not produce the same consistency, finish, or cohesion as standard injection molding. That said, each MagnaRest product is thoroughly checked for form, function, and aesthetics before shipment. Manufacturing imperfections that do not fall under our warranty include but are not limited to surface imperfections, stringing, and minor deformations. If your product as received is out of specification beyond the limitations of 3D printing as it currently exists, we will replace it or refund your purchase.
Impact & Heat Damage: 3D printed products are not as impact or heat resistant as some other plastics products. They are designed with a balance between durability and cost in mind. That said, our products have been carried and used for years as both prototypes and finished products without failure, and several of them incorporate multiple materials to provide flexibility or rigidity at key stress points, as appropriate. Therefore, we warrant that they are exactly as durable as a customer can reasonably expect given their price, construction, and function. Heavy impacts or heat exposure beyond these parameters are not warrantied. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR MagnaRest PRODUCTS IN A HOT VEHICLE! Our warranty does not apply in these cases.
Over-Torquing, bending, tearing, etc: 3D printed plastic parts are not as resistant to torque, bending, or other stresses as standard injection-molded parts, which are not immune to abuse anyway. That is why our instruction manuals include information on torque or other stress limits. If you over-torque a component and strip its threading, roundout its fastener interface, or break its components, we will replace these components only when some major manufacturing defect can be shown. The same is true for other breakages, rips, or deformations.
What the MagnaRest warranty DOES cover:
If you are not satisfied with the product as received, you contact us within 30 days of shipment, and we have been unable to address your concerns, we will refund your purchase price. However, we reserve the right to refuse future orders, returns, or refunds if in our judgment these are warranted.
