Color Selections: Your items can be cut in any color but please keep in mind that if you order a non-stocked color (not available in the color selector) there will be increased processing time for the shop to obtain that glass color and depending on the color a price difference from the original listings price. Custom Cut Shapes: If you have a custom shape in mind that you would like to order please reach out to me at glassmaniastudios@gmail.com. A design fee will be charged for all custom cuts, currently, this charge is $14.00. This fee will be charged once no matter how many pieces or what color you choose. If the custom shape can be used as a listing in the shop, sometimes this fee will be waived. If you should decide to order the shape again in the future you will not be charged the design fee as we will keep the design in our library if it is not converted to a listing.
Firing Temperatures: The shop recommends that you fire your shapes at a low temperature, generally referred to as a tack or contour fuse for best results. Knowing your kiln and its firing range is always your best bet when fusing. Experimentation is recommended to get the results you desire. There are many websites that you can refer to create a firing schedule. Often your kiln manufacturer will provide basic firing schedules. The shop has used www.glasscampus.com for firing schedules and other valuable information. You can also refer to glass manufacturers' websites listed below for additional information.
