A sweet little bird seems to rise from this pillow. I have hand-quilted the bird so that the effect is 3-dimensional. I have also hand-sewn the pillow. The pillow is made from cotton and recycled, hypoallergenic polyester. It is 14" x 14".

Meet the Maker
Having just retired from teaching, I decided to pick up my needle and sew the way my grandmother taught me. I hand-quilt and sew pillows. The images on the fabric become 3-dimensional because of the quilting. I love spending my days with a needle in my hand, creating something that will bring others joy and comfort.
