Scarf Description: This scarf is made with many yarns in a pattern which increases on one side causing the beautiful twirly ruffles of all the yarns. With all the textures and colors this hand crocheted scarf has great presence. The textural combination gives this scarf and a fun unique look. For this scarf I stayed in the red family of colors. Each of the yarns that I used have a twinge of this color family.
Yarns: Some of the yarns include: a lighter pink to a burgundy variegation, a maroon bumpy, soft yarn, an orange to peach eyelash yarn. Eyelash yarn is the yarn with thin strings coming from it, thus the name eyelash yarn. a brown yarn with a string of orange throughout, a peachy solid color yarn, a white and grey yarn with a maroon eyelash throughout, a purple yarn and eyelash combination, a brown yarn with some popcorn colors, including pink and red as well as some blue and green, and an orange, black, cream, and grey bumpy yarn.
Measurements: The scarf is 79 inches of length and about 4 ½ inches wide.
Processing: This item is a finished product. My processing time takes 1-3 days based on USPS holidays and Sundays.
Washing instructions: Hand wash in cool soapy water. Be sure your soap is a mild soap and you will only need to use just a little soap. Rinse, then lay the item in a towel and roll the towel with the scarf inside. Then press out the excess water. Then lay the scarf flat to dry. Once dry, if the scarf needs a bit of fluffing, you can place in a cool dryer for 1-2 minutes with a dryer sheet.
Environment: This item was crafted in a smoke free and pet free home.
Packaging: My packaging for my crocheted items is that I place them in a food grade plastic bag and place them in a mailing envelope. If it is one of my larger items I will use a box. The plastic protects the item in shipping in case the envelope or box gets wet. Once you receive the hand crocheted item, shake it to fluff. The scarf could smell a bit like the plastic bag when you get it...a bit of time out of the bag and this smell should go away.
Color: Colors may very just a bit based on the difference in electronic devices.

And...yes, in the pic my readers do have the sticker showing the strength. I have them in different strengths throughout the house. I leave them on the readers so that if I happen on to an older pair with a lower strength, I can look at the sticker and not think I am going blind!
In this picture I am making dainty little necklaces and hair bows for my granddaughter. I make my jewelry in the formal dining room. My husband said we should not have bought a house with a formal living and dining room, because we do not use them. Well, I am using them now!!! I have foil down on my table to protect it...and it forms to the table so it worked well, and rubber gloves on so I do not burn my fingers while making the bows! Just in case you were wondering...my mouth is open cuz I am talking.
