“Timothy Lake” by PNW Artist Nicolle Black. Part of the Oregon Driftwood Series, based on photographs taken of driftwood all around Oregon. Timothy Lake is a serene, beautiful man made Lake surrounded trees. There are lots of tree trunks under water and because the water is so still its seems like a tree graveyard when on your kayak. We went there yearly for a friend's bday party and this weekend this picture was taken it rained so hard, which was welcomed as we were having a major drought and the fires had gotten bad that year.

Meet the Maker
Welcome! Nicolle Black here, I am a painter from the Pacific Northwest. My artwork showcased on this site all come from my Original Paintings using Acrylic Paint on Canvas or Paper. I have a passion for the artistic process and design. I find joy in the challenge and growth that painting brings. It encourages me to view the world in a different light and appreciate the beauty in the present moment, providing a much needed contrast to our past faced society.
Beyond Art, I enjoy being a devoted Mom, slowing down and soaking in those moments with my little one is really sweet and special. I also enjoy gardening, a good cup of coffee and playing music. I have played music since I was young, I honed my chops playing in blues, cover, and symphonic bands and music is a constant companion during my painting sessions.

How it’s Made
My original painting is made into a gallery wrapped canvas print, I then paint of this canvas print in my studio. I love painting and hope to convey that with every piece that goes out my door.
Shop Policies
Do you accept returns?
Please note that due to the made to order nature of my art I am unable to accept returns or exchanges for change of mind.
However, -rest assured-if your artwork is damaged in transit, please contact me within 48 hours of receiving your package so I can inspect and promptly arrange a replacement.
Please note that photos showing the damaged artwork and packaging will be required to claim your replacement.
To offer complete peace of mind in these cases, I arrange a replacement free of charge.
