About this Product
Electric Tapestry consists of a trio of handmade paintings on canvas panels. The dominant painting is 11x14”, and is an abstract piece, characterized by magenta and gold hues. This is a layered, textured painting, giving it a dynamic feel. The black ink lines and swirls create movement and energy. The free-form lines intersect with the bold colors, providing a sense of visual balance.
The two 8x10” paintings feature an expressive abstract composition, made up of bold, dynamic strokes of magenta and gold. The assertive black ink lines overlap the colors, adding movement and energy. These three paintings have a white, shimmery background which accents the compositions.

Meet the Maker
My name is Camille Goscicki, and I'm from Sterling Heights, Michigan (Metro Detroit area). When I retired in 2021, I wasn't sure what to do with the next chapter in my life. As I sat on the couch, attempting to watch daytime television, I had a revelation. A few revelations, actually. One: I hate daytime television. Two: Napping is overrated. Three: Eureka! I needed to stir up my brain cells and I couldn't do that just sitting around!
Flashback to my childhood: I loved to draw and paint. I was no child genius, mind you. But it was a fun pastime. Eureka! I thought to myself. I'll take art lessons! And that, my friends, is why I'm here today, and my hands are often colorful, along with my clothes.
After stuttering along for awhile, I finally discovered that I love creating with acrylic paints (and other media, such as India inks, acrylic inks, and spray inks). That has been my focus for the last 18 months. It's been wonderful, (and challenging) to learn new skills and find my own voice. Other than art, i enjoy reading, exercising for brain and body fitness and discovering new music through Spotify.
I live with my husband of 39 years, and we have an adult married daughter who lives in Frankfurt, Germany with her husband and our grand-cat, Rocky.
How it’s Made
I started this trio of paintings by adding large patches and drips of pastel acrylic paints onto canvas panels to create the background. I added 2 layers of washy white paint to mute the background colors. I topped that with two layers of a shimmery white acrylic paint. For the larger 11x14" painting, I used a palette knife to add the magenta and gold hues. I added black acrylic ink with an applicator bottle, then used a fan brush to add additional texture. For the 8x10" paintings, I used a flat brush to add the colors, then the black ink in the same way as the larger painting.

It will take 1 to 3 business days for me to pack and ship your purchase (drop off at UPS) UPS Ground shipping takes 1 to 5 days to deliver to your residence. The package will be shipped to the name and address indicated on the order.

My goal is that you will be completely happy with your purchase, so every order and sale is handled with care, clarity, and transparency.
If you decide you don't want the purchased artwork, you have seven (7) business days from the date of delivery to return the item back to me in original condition and I’ll be happy to provide a full refund.

Paintings on canvas panels come framed in black frames, without a glass covering
Paintings on watercolor or acrylic paper come framed in a simple black frame, with 2" matting.
