Hail and Well Met!
My name is Bex. I am a queer, disabled, chronically ill crafter (she/they pronouns) looking to put my obsessions to use. I particularly focus on candles, soaps, wax melts, and sprays made using only essential oils. I personally have severe allergies to many commercial fragrances, so it is important to me that perfume free, clearly labeled products are available.
I am always open to custom orders - if you see a product you're interested in but would like a different color, fragrance, etc., feel free to contact me about customization and available options.
How it’s Made
These candles are made using recycled paraffin wax, originally collected from pillar candles used in church services, vigils, etc. Lightly used pillar candles were melted down, stained to remove old wicks and impurities, and then allowed to solidify in small chunks for future use. 4oz glass mason jars were prepared with metal wick holders and bamboo wicks cut to size.
The recycled wax was then combined with essential oils for fragrance and makeup grade mica powder dyes for color before being hand poured one layer at a time into the mason jars.
