How it’s Made
Each 6" x 8" Mouse Catch-all Tray starts life as a solid blank of your choice—maple, cherry, or walnut—carefully milled to size. I mount it on the CNC router, where the cutter carves out the signature “mouse” shape (6" x 8" outer dimensions with a 1/2″-deep central well).
Once the CNC work is complete, I hand-sand every contour and edge through progressively finer grits until the tray feels silky smooth. Finally, I apply several coats of crystal-clear lacquer, hand-buffing between layers to build a durable, moisture-resistant finish. The result is a beautiful, personalized catch-all that corrals your keys, coins, and everyday carry while standing up to years of use.
