About this Product
Title is "After Irma" in 2017 . A friend that lives in Florida on the Atlantic side sends me photos of the weather, such as sunrises and sunsets AND crazy skies such as Hurricanes passing through. She has moved inland so I may not get too many new references. I have enough already to last my lifetime.This is painted on a 12" x 16" canvas with premium light-fast acrylics and varnished. You only need to use a barely damp cloth to clean when needed. This is painted on a wrapped canvas but only 1/2" deep so you could frame it if you prefer. Otherwise hang as is, painted on the sides. This is an ORIGINAL painting not a reproduction. The quality should not change for several hundred years. I will box this up the day you purchase and send through USPS With a tracking number. Unfortunately, the USPS has lost 4 of my packages over the last 10 years. If it is lost, the USPS has insurance that will cover the cost but they are slow so it could take a month. Meet the Maker
Sue is an artist living in the Blue Ridge Mountains of SW Virginia, Salem to be exact. She has painted most of her life and hopes to be painting when she passes. She has dabbled in all the mediums and currently enjoys collage. Preferring to stay indoors, since the heat has gotten so bad, in the autumn or spring she still enjoys plein aire painting.
How it’s Made
I use archival, light fast professional materials in all my work. Sometimes I use texture paste or heavy gel and stencils. Not in this piece but a lot of my work has gelli prints or old book pages for texture too.
I use golden or liquitex varnish to protect so you never have to worry about wiping dust or ketchup (LOL) off your purchase. Simply use a damp soft cloth and nothing else.
I would also suggest you cut the size (12x16) out of a piece of paper so you can see the size where ever you want to place it, because the photos may not be to scale!
