About this Product
Amazonite is a green to blue-green variety of Microcline, a Feldspar mineral. It ranges in hue from bright verdigris green to paler shades of turquoise, sometimes with white, yellow or grey portions. It may be translucent to opaque. When polished it displays a Schiller effect of iridescence and resembles finely cracked or spider-webbed marble. This material is a bit more opaque green in color with a minimal, if any, shiller effect.
